PDG Access is a new Welsh Government fund to assist families in purchasing uniform and other resources for school when commencing Year 7. It replaces the School Uniform Grant and is designed to be more flexible and cover a wider range of expenditure.
The purpose of the scheme is to provide grant assistance to families on low incomes for the purchase of:
The funding is available to pupils who are eligible for free school meals or are looked after when entering maintained secondary schools in September 2018. The amount payable is £125.
