Our pupils are expected to maintain high standards in all that they do, including their uniform and appearance. We issue clear guidance to pupils and their parents/carers to avoid any misunderstandings and expect all parents to support the school in adhering to the uniform requirements.
Most generic items of uniform may be purchased from local school uniform suppliers (e.g. plain black trousers and black shoes). However, it is important to note that some items sold in school uniform sections may not conform to the guidance, so please read it carefully. If you are in any doubt, please contact us.
Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.
From September 2021, we will revert to our full Uniform Policy as shown above, including Cwmtawe PE kit for sport lessons. However, the supply of PE items has been affected by the pandemic, which has caused some delays. We are aware that this is likely to affect existing pupils who have outgrown their sports kit and new pupils starting the school in September.
Supplies have been ordered and are expected at Sportec before October half term (we will inform parents/carers when deliveries arrive in the country, so please avoid calling Sportec for updates in the interim).
Therefore, during September 2021 and October 2021, pupils may wear a plain white t-shirt or polo shirt and plain black shorts/leggings/tracksuit bottoms for their PE and games lessons.
If your child is entitled to free school meals and will be starting Year 7 or Year 10 in September, you may be entitled to additional financial support. You can apply online via the Neath Port Talbot Council website.
