Now, more than ever, it is essential that we work together as a community to help and support each other. The school is working hard to try and continue to support our children and families as much as we possibly can. However, we recognise that everyone is facing unprecedented challenges, so we have linked in with several organisations to get support to where it is needed the most.
Since school closures were announced, we have been in telephone contact with many of our families to ensure they are supported with anything they need. We also have staff in school looking after the children of critical workers on the front line of the response to Coronavirus, whilst other staff are busy preparing resources to support home learning for pupils.
Despite these efforts, we recognise that many more of our children and families may need additional support over the coming months as a direct, or indirect consequence of Coronavirus. We also realise there may be many more people in need of support within the community that we cannot reach through our usual channels.
Please let people know about the support available. Our thanks to Jeremy Miles AM and staff for their help in signposting the links below. Their office can be contacted for any help and advice on 01792 869993 or by email Jeremy.miles@assembly.wales
